Our crane offers a lifting capacity of 5 tons in 3D-mode and 15 tons for heavy lifts, including AHC fuctionality for subsea lifting. Engineered with a focus on safety and operational convenience, the crane is equipped with features such as a camera system, anti-pendulum mechanism, and anti-collision system. It is specifically designed to ensure high utilization, low energy consumption and minimize maintenance requirements. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this innovative and exciting project, particularly as we have the privilege to collaborate with the high-performing team at Ulstein, located just a short drive from our headquarters in Molde.
Our 3D-Motion Compensated cranes are based on Motus Marine Cranes (MMC240) and have a purpose designed 3D-Motion compensation system. Low weight and COG of the crane, combined with smart power management, ensures that the energy consumption is kept to a minimum.
With this 3D-system and an intelligent and well-proven control system, the cranes are optimized for lifting cargo to and from an offshore windmill in a safe and energy efficient manner. Vessel motions are automatically compensated ensuring the crane hook is steady during lift-off and landing on the windmill landing platform.
The cranes are equipped with a separate heavy lift winch also prepared for Active Heave Compensation (AHC), making the cranes capable of handling cargo on deck as well as subsea.
