The vessel M/V Zenith is designed by Skipsteknisk and will be catching, processing and freezing crab in the Barents Sea.
The new crabber vessel M/V Zenith departed Istanbul in march. The new Skipsteknisk ST-184 AS design was handed over from Tersan Shipyard in Turkey to Murmansk based owner JSC Arcticservice, and started her journey up to Kirkenes in Norway.
The ST-184 AS is a new design from Skipsteknisk and the vessel will be catching, processing and freezing King Crab and Snow Crab in the Barents Sea, where they have their quotas.
M/V Zenith has main dimensions of 62 x 15m (L x B) and will be operated by a crew of 38 persons, enabling a production capacity of up to 60 tons crabs/24h. Processing plant is delivered by Bjørdal in Norway.
Motus has designed and custom made the deck equipment, in close collaboration with the customer.
